Safe & Responsible Play

Responsible Gaming at a6wan — Your Safety Is Our Priority

a6wan believes that gambling should always be a form of entertainment — not a source of financial stress, anxiety, or harm. This page explains the tools, safeguards, and guidelines in place to help every Pakistani player on a6wan stay in control.

21+
Strictly 21 Years and Above

Access to all real-money gaming and betting features on a6wan is restricted to players aged 21 or older. Age verification is mandatory before any deposit or withdrawal is processed. There are no exceptions.

Understanding Responsible Gaming

What Responsible Gaming Really Means

Responsible gaming is a straightforward concept: gambling should be an enjoyable leisure activity, played within limits that you set yourself — limits on time, money, and emotional investment. When gambling stops being fun and starts affecting your finances, relationships, work, or mental health, it has crossed a line that needs to be addressed.

At a6wan, responsible gaming is not a compliance exercise — it's built into the product. Whether you're placing a cricket bet during a PSL match in Lahore or spinning a few slots late at night in Karachi, the tools to manage your play are always accessible within your a6wan account. They're there because we genuinely want you to play within your means.

For most players, gambling remains exactly what it should be: entertainment. But the nature of casino games and sports betting means that outcomes cannot be predicted or controlled, and the house edge means that over time, losses are a realistic expectation. Understanding this before you play — and treating any winnings as a bonus rather than an income — is the foundation of responsible gaming on a6wan.

a6wan operates under an internationally recognised gaming licence that includes responsible gaming requirements. Compliance with these requirements is not optional — it shapes how the a6wan platform is designed and how our support team is trained to respond when a player shows signs of gambling-related difficulty.

The Golden Rules

a6wan's Responsible Play Principles

Gamble Only What You Can Afford to Lose
Before any session on a6wan, decide the maximum amount of PKR you are prepared to lose — and treat that as the absolute ceiling. Never gamble with rent money, bill payments, savings, or borrowed funds.
Set a Time Limit Before You Start
Decide how long you will play before you open a6wan — not during the session. In-session decisions about time limits are consistently less reliable than pre-session decisions. Use a6wan's session timer to enforce your own rule.
Never Chase Losses
Chasing losses — increasing bets or extending sessions to try to recover money already lost — is one of the most reliable paths to problem gambling. Losses are part of the game. Accept them and stop.
Keep Gambling Separate from Other Life Problems
Using gambling as a way to escape stress, relationship problems, or financial pressure is dangerous. If you find yourself logging into a6wan when you are upset, anxious, or under financial strain, stop and seek support.
Take Regular Breaks
Continuous gambling impairs judgment. Step away regularly — a6wan's reality check alerts will remind you of how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered in the current session.

Built-In Player Protection

Responsible Gaming Tools on a6wan

All of the following tools are available within your a6wan account settings, free of charge, at any time.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limit in PKR directly from your a6wan account settings. Once a deposit limit is active, a6wan will not accept deposits that would take you over the limit. Increasing a limit takes 24 hours to activate; decreasing a limit takes effect immediately.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum amount of PKR you are willing to lose in a given period — daily, weekly, or monthly. When your net losses for the period reach your limit, a6wan will automatically suspend further betting and casino play until the period resets. Loss limit decreases apply immediately.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum gaming session duration before you start playing. a6wan will display a countdown timer on your screen and will automatically log you out when your session limit is reached. You must wait a configurable cooling-off period before starting a new session.

Reality Check Alerts

Configure regular on-screen alerts that interrupt your a6wan session to show you a summary of time played, net win/loss, and the number of bets placed. Reality checks prompt you to review your activity and decide consciously whether to continue playing.

Cool-Off Periods

Take a short break from a6wan — 24 hours, 48 hours, one week, or one month — without committing to permanent self-exclusion. During a cool-off period, your a6wan account is suspended and you will not receive any promotional communications. Cool-off periods cannot be reversed once set.

Self-Exclusion

Request a full self-exclusion from a6wan for a minimum period of six months or permanently. Self-exclusion closes your account, blocks re-registration, and removes you from all marketing lists immediately. Self-exclusion is the strongest tool available and cannot be reversed during the exclusion period.

How to Self-Exclude from a6wan

Requesting self-exclusion at a6wan is straightforward. You do not need to explain or justify the request — the a6wan support team will action it immediately and without question.

1
Log In to Your a6wan Account

Access your account via a6wan.net using your registered mobile number and password. Self-exclusion controls are available in the Responsible Gaming section of your account settings.

2
Navigate to Responsible Gaming Settings

Go to Account > Settings > Responsible Gaming. You will find all available tools here: deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, cool-off periods, and self-exclusion.

3
Select Self-Exclusion and Choose a Duration

Choose a self-exclusion period: 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or permanent exclusion. All options are equally valid — there is no "minimum" for the purposes of getting help.

4
Confirm Your Request

Confirm the self-exclusion request. a6wan will immediately suspend your account, end any active sessions, remove you from all promotional communications, and block re-registration attempts.

5
Contact Support Directly if Needed

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request self-exclusion directly, email the a6wan support team at [email protected]. Self-exclusion requests submitted by email are actioned within one hour of receipt.

Important: a6wan strongly recommends that players who self-exclude also contact their mobile wallet provider (JazzCash, EasyPaisa) and bank (HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank) to apply payment-level blocking as an additional safeguard against accidental re-deposits.
Recognise the Signs

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually. The earlier it is recognised, the easier it is to address. Read through the following — be honest with yourself.

  • Gambling with money set aside for bills, rent, groceries, or school fees
  • Borrowing money from family, friends, or taking out loans to fund gambling
  • Selling personal belongings to get money for gambling
  • Repeatedly depositing more after losses hoping to recover the amount
  • Hiding gambling expenses or lying about how much you have spent on a6wan or other platforms

  • Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not gambling
  • Using gambling as a way to escape stress, depression, boredom, or family problems
  • Spending increasing amounts of time thinking about gambling when doing other things
  • Feeling a compulsion to gamble that is difficult to resist even when you intend to stop
  • Gambling alone more often and keeping your gaming activity secret from people you are close to

  • Arguments with family members — particularly a spouse, parents, or siblings — about gambling time or money spent
  • Missing or neglecting family responsibilities, work commitments, or social occasions because of gambling
  • Lying to family members about where you have been or what you have been doing
  • Feeling that relationships are suffering because of the time and money directed toward gambling

  • Gambling for longer than intended almost every session despite intending to stop
  • Needing to gamble with larger and larger amounts to feel the same level of excitement
  • Making repeated unsuccessful attempts to cut down or stop gambling
  • Checking cricket odds or casino balances frequently throughout the day even when not actively playing
If You Recognise These Signs

Recognising problem gambling patterns is the most important first step. You do not have to be in financial crisis to seek help. Contact the a6wan support team to activate self-exclusion or a cool-off period immediately. Help is available — and using a6wan's responsible gaming tools is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Quick Self-Check

Ask Yourself These Questions

Honest answers to these questions can help you assess whether your gambling on a6wan — or any platform — is remaining within healthy boundaries.

Have you ever spent more than you planned to on a6wan in a single session or week?
Have you ever told a family member or friend a different amount than what you actually spent gambling?
Have you continued playing on a6wan to try to win back money you had already lost?
Has gambling ever caused tension, arguments, or conflict with your spouse, parents, or other family members in Pakistan?
Have you ever used JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or bank transfers to deposit money you needed for something else — rent, food, bills?
Do you find yourself thinking about gambling — upcoming matches, casino games, betting odds — when you are at work, with family, or trying to sleep?
Have you ever felt that you needed to gamble with bigger amounts to feel the same level of excitement as before?
Have you tried to stop or cut down your gambling and found it difficult — or found that you went back to it soon after?
Interpreting Your Answers: If you answered yes to one or two of the above, take it as a signal to review how you use a6wan and to set deposit or time limits. If you answered yes to three or more, we strongly encourage you to contact our support team at [email protected] to discuss responsible gaming options including cool-off periods and self-exclusion.

Protecting Young People

Underage Gambling Prevention

a6wan enforces a strict 21+ age requirement across all platform features. No person under the age of 21 may register an account, deposit, place a bet, or access casino games on a6wan — no exceptions.

Age verification is mandatory before any real-money transaction is processed. If you are a parent or guardian in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, or anywhere else in Pakistan and you are concerned that a minor in your household may be accessing online gambling platforms, a6wan recommends the following protective steps.

Secure Your Devices

Enable parental controls and screen time limits on smartphones, tablets, and computers used by minors. Do not leave gambling platform accounts logged in on shared devices.

Keep Credentials Private

Never share your a6wan username, password, or JazzCash/EasyPaisa PIN with anyone in your household — including older teenagers. Account access means access to real money.

Have an Open Conversation

Talk openly with young people in your family about the risks associated with gambling — including the false perception that it is a reliable way to make money. Education is the most effective prevention tool.

Platform Accountability

No Re-Registration
